What color is the illumination wire on the Pioneer? ›

The Pioneer had an orange wire with a white stripe, identified as "to lighting switch terminal." The harness Crutchfield supplied had a plain orange wire, identified as "Illumination (not dimmed by switch)." The Crutchfield guy I talked to said not to hook those two wires up, just leave them both alone.

Basic Wire Color-Coding
